First published by AMR Research (now Gartner, Inc.) in 2004, the Hierarchy of Supply Chain Metrics is a set of inter-related metrics that assist in the assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of corrective actions towards managing supply chain performance. The Hierarchy of Supply Chain Metrics delineates 3 key performance indicators: demand forecasting, perfect order/customer service, and supply management cost.
