Huawei CFO Arrested for U.S. Sanction Violations

According to Reuters, Canada arrested the CFO of Huawei, Meng Wanzhou, in Vancouver on Saturday, December 1 as announced on Wednesday, December 5 due to U.S. sanction violations. The U.S. sanction violation is in relation to the shipment of U.S. origin products to Iran, as well as other countries, which is against U.S. export and sanction laws.
