For the Second Straight Year
Santa Clara, CA – May 19, 2014 – Resilinc Corp., the leading provider of end-to-end supply chain resiliency solutions, today announced that it has won the 2014 Supply & Demand Chain Executive “100” Great Supply Chain Projects award for the second year in a row. The award will be presented in the June issue of Supply & Demand Chain Executive (SDCE) magazine.
The 2014 Supply & Demand Chain Executive “100” award honorees are supply chain solution and services providers that are helping their clients to achieve global supply chain excellence by driving improvements and bottom-line value across their supply chains. The annual SDCE 100 awards spotlight innovative transformation projects that deliver bottom-line value to small, medium and large enterprises across the range of supply chain functions in warehouse, transportation, procurement sourcing and other business-critical areas in the end-to-end supply chain. The supply chain projects receiving SDCE 100 awards can serve as a roadmap for new opportunities to drive operational improvements because they have produced measurable gains in ROI through cost-cutting and increased efficiency. The submissions were evaluated by the magazine’s editorial staff primarily based on: ambitiousness/scope of the project (30 percent); creative application of technologies/solutions/services used (20 percent); extent of the business results/impact (40 percent); and clarity of submission (10 percent).
Resilinc’s award selection in each of the last two years was based on two separate client projects demonstrating the ability Resilinc’s best-in-class supply chain software has to continuously drive value. Resilinc’s 2014 award was based on its work with EMC, the scope of which included both supply chain risk and conflict minerals compliance.
“What Resilinc provides is really what we need to facilitate a bottoms-up approach,” said Steve Cleary, EMC’s chief procurement officer. “They provide us with the resources we need to collect, analyze and understand our supply chain vulnerability data and so it really becomes not only a key to our success in risk mitigation but also a critical asset in protecting our brand reputation. Being able to leverage Resilinc’s strength in multi-tier supply chain mapping and management is of huge value to a global corporation like EMC.”
“For the second year in a row, Resilinc is proud to be recognized as the supply chain risk solution leader by the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 award, as well as by our global customers such as EMC. Resilinc has quickly become the gold standard for multi-tier supply chain mapping and risk quantification, deep visibility, resiliency planning, supply chain monitoring, and compliance solutions across several industries including high-tech, automotive and life sciences,” said Sumit Vakil, CTO of Resilinc.
