Extreme Weather Causes Disruptions in Eastern USA

According to AccuWeather, extreme weather conditions caused disruptions throughout a significant segment of the eastern USA on Thursday, June 20. Thunderstorms struck from Georgia through New Jersey resulting in more than 215,000 power outages across the impacted region. About 150,000 were affected by outages in North and South Carolina alone.
