CEO & Founder

Bindiya Vakil

Bindiya Vakil is CEO and founder of Resilinc and is a recognized thought leader in the area of supply chain risk management. She has been a practitioner in high-tech supply chain management with companies including Flextronics, Cisco and Broadcom. Ms. Vakil has a master’s degree in supply chain management from MIT and an MBA in Finance.  She is a published author and frequent speaker at top supply chain conferences and universities on the topic of supply chain resiliency. Ms. Vakil’s concept of “Design for Resiliency” is being widely adopted as a best practice in the industry. Ms. Vakil was named a Top Female Supply Chain Executive in 2013 by Supply & Demand Chain Executive.


Chief Marketing Officer

Jon Bovit

Jon Bovit has more than 25 years of experience as a technologist, strategist, and marketer at firms such as Ariba, Aravo, CVM Solutions, and Oracle. As Chief Marketing Officer for Resilinc, Mr. Bovit is responsible for driving Resilinc’s ongoing strategic direction, product strategy and market growth. Prior to joining Resilinc, Bovit was CMO of CVM Solutions, a leader in supplier management solutions, where he drove four consecutive quarters of over 30% growth until they were acquired by Altergity. Prior to joining CVM Solutions, Mr. Bovit was vice president of strategy at Aravo Solutions, Inc., a provider of on-demand supplier management software and services, where he tailored the company’s strategic operational, product and sales initiatives to align with evolving marketplace needs. Before Aravo, Bovit was director of platform sales for, where he led sales efforts focused on on-demand Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions to CIOs and senior IT executives. Earlier in his career, Bovit was managing director at Ariba, Inc., leading the growth of the supplier connectivity team in North America, and was a technical team leader with Oracle Corp. Mr. Bovit has a Masters in Information Management and is a doctoral candidate from Stevens Institute of Technology.


Managing Director of India and VP of Engineering

Ranjeet Shetye

Ranjeet Shetye has more than 15 years of experience in technology leadership roles at companies such as Airespace, PicoMobile, and Internet Devices. As Managing Director and VP of Engineering for Resilinc, Mr. Shetye is responsible for managing the operations of Resilinc’s India offices as well as leading the development of Resilinc’s product lines. Prior to joining Resilinc, Mr. Shetye was the Director of Technology at PicoMobile, where he developed multiple patents. Prior to PicoMobile, he was Senior Engineer at Airespace, where he designed and supervised the integration of Airespace’s wireless IEEE architecture with Cisco’s wireline AVVID architecture after Airespace was acquired by Cisco. He holds a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and Bachelors in Computer Engineering from Bombay University.


Chief Technology Officer

Sumit Vakil

Sumit Vakil has almost 20 years of experience bringing innovative technologies to market. He has served in Product Management and engineering roles at successful startups such as Airespace, InternetDevices and VPNet, in addition to his product leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies such as Brocade, Cisco, and 3Com. Prior to his role at Resilinc, he was the Director of Product Management at Brocade. Mr. Vakil is the holder of several patents and has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. Mr. Vakil was appointed a Senior Research Fellow to the Supply Chain Management Center in the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
